Breastfeeding

The key to successful breastfeeding is SUPPORT.  If you would like private in-home consultation for breastfeeding education this service is available (both pre and post pregnancy).  I have extensive breastfeeding support experience, and I keep up date on all current evidence based literature.  From my library you will have access to videos such as Follow Me Mum and Dr. Jack Newman's Visual Guide to Breastfeeding.  I also have the following programs ongoing:

Breastfeeding women's group  This group meets every Tuesday, 11am - 12 noon, in the community room at Uncommon Kids.  Come and meet other women who are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed...you will learn, you will teach, you will inspire and guide one another, you will feel encouraged and supported.  This group is drop in and is complementary. 

Breastfeeding 101.  You will walk away feeling empowered and full of information as you prepare for this unique yet sometimes challenging relationship with your new baby.  Cost is $45 +tax (pregnant mom and a companion included!).  Another workshop will be offered this Fall, stay tuned.
